In honor of the murdered policeman, the US Embassy in Kosovo lowers the flag to half-mast
The Embassy of the United States in Kosovo has today lowered its flag to half-mast, in solidarity with the mourning of Kosovo and its people, for the murder of police officer Afrim Bunjaku from the terrorist attack by Serbian criminal groups in Zveçan.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, made a decision yesterday, based on the Constitution of Kosovo, that September 25 will be announced as a state day of mourning, in honor of the policeman Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed in the early hours of Thursday in the north and the Embassy has written on the official website that they join the institutions on this day of mourning.
“President Vjosa Osmani has announced today, September 25, National Day of Mourning in the Republic of Kosovo. We join the institutions of Kosovo in this day of mourning for the loss of Kosovo Police Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku. Today, our flag at the American Embassy is lowered to half-mast in his honor,” the Facebook post read.
