Sveçla: If Vucic enters Kosovo without permission, we will arrest him

The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has warned that they will arrest the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic, if he enters Kosovo without permission. In an interview for DPT, Sveçla said that foreign citizens cannot enter Kosovo without a permit.

“For permission, he goes to the Prime Minister, for without permission he comes to me. It is a decision-making matter for the Prime Minister, if there is a request, whether to grant permission to Vucic or not. And, for without permission, then you know which institutions deal with it. If it enters Kosovo, without any doubt. How do you think that someone, a foreign citizen, can enter the Republic of Kosovo without the permission of the institutions of Kosovo”, stated Sveçla in a TV show in Kosovo.

According to him, it is a decision-making matter for the Prime Minister, if there is a request, whether to grant permission to Vucic or not.

“What are the consequences? The consequence is that you simply don’t have a state if the head of another state enters your territory without permission”, however, Sveçla declared, “I don’t believe that Vucic is so crazy as to come to Kosovo without permission”, he declared.

This statement by Sweden comes after an agreement was not reached in Brussels on the Kosovo-Serbia agreement, while Kurti has accused Lajcak of taking Serbia’s side.
